Face, palm or fingerprint? Choosing a time-attendance terminal

The right terminal depends on how many people you have, where the device will hang, and how your staff work. Here is how we narrow it down on a site survey.

Small teams (up to ~500 people)

The SenseFP M1 handles 500 users with fingerprint, card and password on a physical keypad, and connects to the ZKBio Zlink cloud. It suits shops, clinics and small offices.

Touch-free and hygiene-sensitive sites

The SenseFace T3 combines visible-light face and near-infrared palm recognition with fingerprint and card, verifying faces and palms in under half a second. SensePalm T1/T2 use palm-vein recognition at 8–15 cm.

Larger workforces and multiple branches

Pair terminals with ZKBio Time, which manages up to 500 devices with shifts, schedules and employee self-service. Attendance can then feed payroll-ready reports in Zoho Books through CloudBooks.
